Lightweight, race-friendly weather protection Trail runners are made of tough materials, but no one is safe from the elements, so we've taken your standard rain shell for race days and applied Soar vision. Primarily, each jacket is made from AIRLIGHT, our ultra-breathable fabric with a three-layer membrane and fully sealed seams to protect you from the heaviest rain while remaining fast and light on the trail. But we're taking it a step further with an unconventional smock design to keep things minimal, whether tucked inside your bag as obligatory running gear or worn occasionally throughout a tough race. In this case, it also aligns perfectly with our goal of creating a backpack-friendly piece: the double half-zip construction cleverly allows for increased ventilation while running under the sternum straps. For the same purpose, we have increased abrasion resistance to ensure long-lasting performance under wraps and seasons of use. The piece is complemented by other trail-ready details, including an ergonomic hood with a convenient closure, elasticated cuffs and rear hem, ergonomic sleeves to limit rustling and maintain your speed, and reflective details to ensure that you are seen.
