The On Cloudboom Echo 3 is a competition shoe for the neutral runner. This model is designed for competitions from 5 km up to and including the marathon. The Cloudboom Echo 3 features a carbon plate and PEBAX foam for maximum energy return with every step you take.

The upper is made of microfiber, which ensures optimal ventilation for your feet. In addition, this material will absorb less water so that your feet stay dry and comfortable in all conditions. So when you walk in the rain, you keep the feeling of lightness on your feet.

In the midsole is a carbon-enriched Speedboard. This makes this competition shoe much more stable and gives an explosive push to the forefoot while running. The carbon plate runs the full length of the shoe and has a curved construction, so you feel more foam on the forefoot. Because the carbon shoe points up at the toes, your foot will automatically roll over. This results in a smooth transition from heel to forefoot.

This is the first time that On has used PEBAX foam in its competition shoes. This cushioning material gives the highest energy return so you can keep running at high speeds, even if you get a little heavier over longer distances. In the midsole we also see the unique CloudTec technology which converts the vertical impact of landing into forward motion.

The unique rubber outsole provides traction in all conditions. The rubber extends to the toe box to protect your feet. No personal best is safer with this fast competition shoe.
